Sol Ruca Says WWE Discovered Her Through Her Instagram Videos

Sol Ruca shares how WWE came to recruit her, crediting her history as a content creator on Instagram for the company discovering her.

In 2022, Sol would sign with the WWE and after suffering through injuries, would become a staple of WWE NXT before being called up to the WWE main roster earlier this year. Now, Sol has shared how the company came to recruit her, noting that her time as a content creator on Instagram caught the companies eye.

While speaking to the Toronto Sun in a new interview, Sol Ruca shared how WWE recruited her after discovering her through flips and tricks videos she uploaded to Instagram.

“Once I graduated college, I moved to Hawaii, and I was doing social media full time and I was a personal trainer, and they found me through my Instagram videos, which was me just doing flips and tricks on the beach and whatnot, and they recruited me that way, and then I had a tryout and I’ve been here ever since.”
