Sol Ruca Reveals How She Found Out About Saturday Night’s Main Event Match Against Bayley

Sol Ruca is ready to fight Bayley in Washington D.C.

Aside from John Cena’s final match against Gunther, Saturday Night’s Main Event will feature a ton of rising stars from the NXT brand. One of those names will be Sol Ruca, who is scheduled to take on Bayley in a singles contest.

Speaking with Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp for an exclusive interview ahead of the show, Ruca revealed how and when she first found out about the match.

“I got a text that said that you’re needed for Saturday Night’s Main Event. I said, ‘Okay, maybe it’s like a crowd shot or whatever.’ Then, we ended up having that backstage with The Miz and Bayley and that’s kinda how I found out. Like oh, this is going to be fun, I’m excited.”

Ruca went on to clarify that she had no prior plans before getting the assignment, noting that she wants to stay open and ready for the opportunity.
