Son Of Brian Adams/Crush Opens Up About His Father Not Being Included In Demolition’s WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

The son of Crush speaks about the news.
On the upcoming schedule for WWE is their 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony. One of the inductees is three-time WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition (Ax/Bill Eadie & Smash/Barry Darsow).
In 1990, the late Brian Adams a.k.a. Crush joined Demolition. He was a member of Demolition for the backend of the remaining year of the team’s run in WWF.
Royce Adams, son of Brian Adams, was a guest on Master Class and spoke about his father not being included in Demolition’s Hall of Fame honor. He said WWE, Eadie, and Darsow have not reached out to his family, but he believes Eadie and Darsow have been busy.
“No. No, we were not contacted by WWE at all about this.” Royce was then asked if Bill Eadie or Barry Darsow reached out to the family, and he responded, “No. They haven’t reached out to us either. I think they just had their hands too busy with other things too and that’s what I believe… But no, we did not get reached out by either.”
Following up on that, Royce was asked to give his opinion on why his father was not included in the honor.
“Well, the way I see it, Demolition’s — their legacy was already well-established before my dad’s arrival because the way I see it, my dad didn’t get involved with Demolition until what? Their literal last year as a team. So, I don’t know if he joined in while they’re still doing that long tag team reign or if this was done afterwards but, all I can say is Demolition… they’ve already built their own legacy well before my dad’s arrival and therefore, it’s kind of like their own thing, and as for my dad, I would like to think that he could be honored someday as his own character, you know? As the Crush character. So, all that being said, I am still very happy about Demolition’s induction regardless. About time, right? That’s what people say… I’m happy for them and I understand due to the exclusive nature that is the WWE Hall of Fame and that, you know, say my dad never really does — I’ve also noticed that you guys aren’t the only ones that are talking about it. I’m actually quite thankful that a lot of fans that are also talking about this too. The whole, ‘Where’s Crush?’ this and, ‘Why isn’t he in?’ that and stuff… Bottom line is it’s just that Demolition already created their own big deal well before his arrival and I would just hope that my dad would be inducted as his own act, as solo Crush.”
He would later state that he’ll be fine if Darsow and Eadie do not mention his father in their Hall of Fame speech. He said they deserve to celebrate and reflect how they see fit.
Royce added that it’s not just his father who is left out and mentioned that Mr. Fuji was a manager of Demolition, and he’s not included in the induction. Fuji was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.
“Sure, I’m fine,” Royce said in response to the idea of Darsow and Eadie not mentioning his father in WWE Hall of Fame speech. “I mean, hey, it’s their moment. They’re able to celebrate however they want to. Like I said, I’m happy for them, you know? That they were able to finally get that long-awaited induction after all these years. Shoot, it’s like, why not? Plus too, you realize it’s not just my dad that’s not included. It’s also Mr. Fuji. He was the manager… That’s how I see it too. Mr. Fuji’s not being inducted with the group either and I think there was something else that I had in mind too but for as far as I’m concerned, it is what it is. I’m happy for them, and I look forward to seeing what they have to say in their Hall of Fame ceremony. I’m curious, just to see what funny stories they’ll pull out their pockets.”
Demolition, AJ Styles, and Stephanie McMahon make up the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class. The event is taking place on April 16th at Dolby Live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
