Speedball Mike Bailey comments on featuring and winning the ladder match that opened AEW Redemption this past Sunday in Montreal.

AEW Redemption took place from the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada on Sunday evening and in the opening contest, several AEW stars would compete in a ladder match to decide the next number one contender for the International Championship, with Speedball taking home the contract in his hometown.

In his latest vlog covering AEW Redemption, Speedball Mike Bailey would take a moment following the match to reflect on his victory.

“I was saying that this was real fucking cool, and again, looking into the crowd and seeing mostly people, well, not mostly. But seeing a significant amount of people that I know personally, that I’ve gone out to dinner with, that I’ve been to their house, that I’ve wrestled with, it’s a pretty cool thing, and my first time in the Bell Center, standing on top of a ladder, getting a guaranteed shot at the winner of the match between Bandido and Kyle Fletcher tonight for the International Championship. It’s a big deal in Lil Speedy’s career. We’re doing it.”
