Spider Fly To Undergo Knee Surgery

Independent wrestler Spider Fly is set to undergo knee surgery.
He posted the following statement on social media:
“During these days I decided to keep quiet because I didn’t want to make my injury public or worry or alarm anyone. But I think it’s time to share with you what’s going on.
Going in for knee surgery in next few hours. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s the necessary step to recover 100% and get back to doing what I love most fighting.
There’s one sentence that perfectly sums up how I feel:
“Just when I thought it was my turn for a slice of the cake, this happened.” ”
After so much work, sacrifices and seeing opportunities so close, this injury forces me to take a break. It hurts, yes, but it doesn’t change my dreams or the path I want to go.
This is not goodbye, this is just another chapter in history. I will work harder than ever on my recovery to come back better, more prepared, and hungry to accomplish every goal I set out for myself. Those opportunities are not gone… I’ll just have to come back for them.
A very special function coming up to support me during this process. I hope to count on all of you, because beyond the fighter, today I need to feel the support of the people who have always been with me.
I wanna know who I’m counting on. To my friends, followers and everyone who has believed in Spider Fly from the beginning: I hope to see you there.
I promise you one thing… i will come back stronger. 🕷️❤️”
