NXT is currently holding its latest set of television tapings from Full Sail University. During the tapings, a former NJPW star made his debut.

At tonight's NXT tapings at Full Sail, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida made his NXT debut. Kushida was officially announced as signing with NXT this past Friday prior to NXT TakeOver: New York. Kushida was shown in the crowd during the event, receiving a big ovation from the Brooklyn faithful.
In his NXT debut, Kushida defeated Kassius Ohno. Kushida's debut will air on NXT in the coming weeks.
