The NXT spoilers tonight from Full Sail University may very well have started to shape NXT Takeover: San Antonio.
Bobby Roode became the number one contender to the NXT title after winning a Fatal 4-Way match over Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong and Andrade Cien Almas. Roode will challenge the NXT Champion Samoa Joe, presumably at the next NXT Takeover event.
Andrade "Cien" Almas defeated No Way Jose, Tye Dillinger defeated Eric Young via DQ, Roderick Strong defeated Elias Samson and Bobby Roode defeated Oney Lorcan in order to gain entry into the match. The qualifying matches are likely to run on December 14, with the top contender match on December 21.
Despite having wrestled with or against each other well over fifty times in their career, Roode and Joe have five televised singles matches against each other. Roode has the 3-2 advantage.
