IMPACT Wrestling taped its 1000th episode of IMPACT on September 9 from New York.

Chris Sabin is the new X-Division Champion, defeating Lio Rush at the IMPACT 1000 tapings.
Sabin scored the victory with the cradle shock.
This marks Sabin's tenth reign at IMPACT X-Division Champion. Lio Rush's reign began at IMPACT Slammiversary when he defeated Sabin. He made one successful title defense.
