TNA's tapings have crowned a new champion.
Moose defeated Aron Rex, the former Damien Sandow, to become the second ever TNA Grand Champion. This puts Rex's reign technically at under one week, although it may last several months on television.
This is Moose's first major title reign in a national company. The former NFL star didn't ever capture a championship during his run in Ring of Honor.
Rex has been teasing a heel turn during this set of tapings, after working as a babyface since his debut in TNA this summer.
This set of tapings has already seen a TNA World Championship change, which aired last Thursday.
