War Games is set.
At Wednesday's set of NXT tapings, general manager William Regal announced the headlining bout for this years War Games event. Read below if you want to know who will participate in the second annual War Games.
This year, War Games will be headlined by Undisputed ERA taking on War Machine, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne.
The bout has started to come together in recent weeks, starting with Dunne and Ricochet teaming against Undisputed ERA. The two singles champions had a miscommunication that led to their downfall, which led to a Champion vs. Champion bout in a subsequent episode of NXT. That bout ended in a disqualification when Undisputed ERA got involved. Following the match, War Raiders made the save for Dunne and Ricochet.
On the most recent episode of NXT, the War Raiders challenged Undisputed ERA for the Tag Team Titles. War Raiders won the bout by disqualification, but were laid out following the match. NXT will continue to build the bout in the coming weeks of television.
NXT TakeOver: War Games 2 takes place on Nov. 17 in Los Angeles.
