IMPACT Wrestling held its latest set of television tapings on July 18 from Skyway Studios in Nashville, taping upcoming episodes of IMPACT and a portion of IMPACT Homecoming.

Mercedes Mone To Speak On 4/17 AEW Dynamite

Major happenings from the tapings are listed below.

- Jay White, who made a surprise appearance at IMPACT Slammiversary, was part of the show and competed in a tag team match. He and Chris Bey lost to The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson).

- Taylor Wilde returned and targeted Tenille Dashwood. Wilde had not wrestled for IMPACT since Under Siege on May 15. She was scheduled to take part in a 10-woman tag team bout on the May 27 episode of IMPACT, but was "nowhere to be found."

- Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo accepted Mickie James' invitation to compete at NWA EmPowerrr. Purrazzo was upset at James for offering the invitation following her victory at IMPACT Slammiversary, believing James was there to steal her spotlight.

- Savannah Evans debuted and attacked Kiera Hogan. Tasha Steelz aligned with Evans, officially ending Fire N' Flava.

- Frankie Kazarian attacked Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. Kazarian is "The Elite Hunter" on AEW television, going after members of The Elite at every turn. Fightful Select previously reported Kazarian involvement in the IMPACT tapings. Kazarian is a former multi-time X-Division and Tag Team Champion in IMPACT. He last wrestled for the promotion in 2014.

- The Drama King (formerly Aiden English) made his in-ring debut, teaming with Deonna Purrazzo in the IMPACT Homecoming Tournament. English's IMPACT debut was teased at IMPACT Slammiversary.

- Missy Hyatt returned to wrestling, teaming with Brian Myers in the IMPACT Homecoming Tournament. This was Hyatt's first match since 2004.
