Spoilers: Mae Young Classic Participant Injured; Wrestler Makes Public Statement

Tegan Nox made her exit from the Mae Young Classic.

During the quarterfinal matches of the Mae Young Classic, Tegan Nox took on Rhea Ripley and the match ended after Nox appeared to have sustained an injury. Rhea Ripley was declared the winner of the match and advanced to the semi-finals.

According to audience member Jacob Cohen's tweet, Triple H addressed the crowd later about Nox's leg injury but added she had a bright future.

Another audience member Luke Allen shared this video of the medical staff attending to Nox in the ring.

 Rhea Ripley will go on to face Io Shirai in the semifinals of the tournament.

After the taping, Nox shared the following tweet where she thanks everyone who sent well wishes and says she will be back "shinier than ever" despite what prognosis she gets. 

Fightful Wrestling has spoilers from both days of tapings for the 2018 Mae Young Classic. There will also be live coverage and discussion for when the matches air in September. The finals will take place at WWE Evolution in October.
