Spoilers: Two Titles Change Hands at MLW Fusion Taping

MLW returned to Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL, for a Fusion taping on Saturday, February 7.

The promotion taped matches for Fusion ahead of Battle Riot VIII. Coincidentally, a pair of title changes also took place on that event.

In the greater Orlando area, KUSHIDA won the World Middleweight Championship and Killer Kross outlasted 39 other competitors to win the World Championship.

Just over a week later, Shotzi Blackheart defeated Shoko Nakajima to win the MLW Featherweight Championship while Austin Aries took down Blue Panther to win the MLW National Openweight Championship.

PWInsider reported these two title changes in Chicago. It’s unknown when these matches will air, though they were both set up during the Fusion taping which happened prior to Battle Riot.
