'Stacks' Has Taken What He Learned From Working With Shinsuke Nakamura And Only Made Himself Better

Stacks looks back on working with Shinsuke Nakamura in NXT.

On the October 18th episode of NXT last year, Tony D'Angelo set out to teach his right hand man a lesson. In turn, this meant that he would go one on one with main roster superstar Shinsuke Nakamura.

While Stacks would put up a respectable fight with the former Intercontinental Champion, in the end Nakamura's experience would shine through, leading to a pair of Kinshasa's for the victory as the crowd serenaded the King Of Strong Style with his theme song.

While speaking to Niko Knows Best, Stacks reflected on the bout with Nakamura, noting that he learned a lot from the matchup. The current NXT Tag Team Champion also stated that he would love a rematch with Nakamura.

“I was really fortunate a year ago to work Shinsuke [Nakamura]. That opportunity to go in there with him and work with him so earlier in my run as Stacks — I learned alot from him, knowledge that I’ve taken with me since then that’s only made me better. I’d love to get the opportunity to do it again because the Stacks that I was one year ago isn’t the Stacks that I am today." Stacks said.

As noted previously, Stacks is currently one half of the NXT World Tag Team Champions alongside Tony D'Angelo after capturing the titles once again on the November 14th edition of NXT, defeating Chase U.

Elsewhere in the interview, Stacks discussed Logan Paul, noting that he wants to see the United States Champion down the line. You can read more here.
