Stardom President Taro Okada Expects Stardom-NJPW Relationship To Continue

On Wednesday morning, it was announced that Bushiroad was transferring all shares in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) to CyberAgent and TV Asahi.
Bushiroad acquired NJPW in 2012, and is also the parent company to Stardom, which it acquired in 2019.
Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Stardom President Taro Okada said that he expects the friendly relationship between NJPW and Stardom to continue, adding that “coordination between the two sides will start from here.”
The story also includes a quote from an unnamed spokesperson who said the deal was made “to further strengthen cooperation in the development and rollout of content and IP, and to work together to create powerful content and IP with an eye toward global expansion, thereby further increasing the corporate value of both companies.”
