Ring of Honor's next event has just added a major match.
At ROH's Best in the World event, Matt Taven was in the ring and called out his longtime foe, Vincent. The Righteous leader put the OGK member out of action last year, and despite having a grudge match at the 19th Anniversary Show, Taven is still looking for revenge.
Taven requested a match versus Vincent and said that if he signed the contract, he would leave Ring of Honor following the match, regardless of the result. Vincent, however, had something different in mind. He agreed to the match but only if Taven put his World Title opportunity on the line. Taven wanted guarantees that there wouldn't be any interference, so a Cage Match was agreed to.
As a result, the two will face off in a cage match on night two of Glory By Honor on Saturday, August 21, 2021. As pointed out by commentary, this will be the promotion's first cage match in several years.
