Steph De Lander: Getting To Share The Ring With Syuri Was An Honor

Steph De Lander reflects on her match with Syuri.

PRODUCE Vol. 3 featured a six-woman tag team bout that pitted Allie Katch, Emersyn Jayne, and Syuri against Billie Starkz, Steph De Lander, and Johnnie Robbie. This was one of the few matches that Syuri has wrestled in the United States since becoming a huge name earlier this decade.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, De Lander talked about sharing the ring with the current IWGP Women’s Champion.

“Oh, she was amazing. She was so awesome, so respectful. We didn’t get to touch very much unfortunately
it was a six-man tag with a lot of moving parts, but getting to share the ring with Syuri was an honor. I
was very excited to be able to get in there with her.”
