Stephanie McMahon And Ari Emanuel To Be Deposed In WWE Shareholder Lawsuit

Stephanie McMahon will be deposed on October 24 as part of the WWE shareholder lawsuit. TKO CEO Ari Emanuel will be deposed on December 2.
Wrestlenomics first reported the news of the depositions.
In November 2023, WWE shareholders, led by the Ohio Laborers’ Pension Fund, filed a lawsuit alleging that Vince McMahon orchestrated WWE’s 2023 merger with Endeavor to ensure he remained in power, bypassing other potential buyers who likely wouldn’t have kept him in charge, and failing to maximize shareholder value.
Former WWE executive Frank Riddick, former WWE executive and current President of 14TH & I Brad Blum, and Executive Vice President of Strategy for TKO and Endeavor Mark Zhu are also set to be deposed.
Thurston adds, “Under Delaware law, the defendants’ attorneys will also be allowed to question each witness. Depositions transcripts do not automatically become part of the public record, but excerpts may be filed later as exhibits in motions or at trial. The case is currently in the discovery phase, where depositions and evidence are collected.”
