Stephanie McMahon Returns To Raw; Kurt Angle Set As Raw Survivor Series Captain

WWE authority figure and former WWF Women's Champion Stephanie McMahon made a return to WWE Raw after a seven month absence.

WWE announcers noted that they hadn't seen Stephanie McMahon since WrestleMania 33, but she also appeared at the end of a recent episode of Smackdown Live when Kevin Owens attacked her father, Vince McMahon. McMahon was written out of storylines when she went through a table during the Seth Rollins vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania 33.

Stephanie scolded WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle for allowing Smackdown Live to take over the Raw locker room on last week's show, leading to their "siege." McMahon then announced that Kurt Angle will captain Raw's Survivor Series team, and if things didn't work out the way she wanted them to, she'd be looking for a new WWE Raw General Manager.

Angle made his return to the WWE ring in October at WWE TLC as a last minute fill-in for the sick Roman Reigns in what was Angle's first WWE match in well over a decade.

WWE Survivor Series takes place on November 19 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage and discussion of the event, including a post-show podcast.
