Stephen A. Smith Refuses To Apologize To Danhausen After New York Knicks Lose Two Straight Games To The Atlanta Hawks

Danhausen made headlines when he cursed Stephen A. Smith on the April 17 episode of First Take.

Since then, Smith’s New York Knicks have lost two out of three games to the Atlanta Hawks. This is no surprise to most NBA fans, as the Hawks have Jalen Johnson, a future megastar.

A week after initially cursing Smith, Danhausen took to social media to offer a truce to the popular ESPN host.

“@stephenasmith APOLOGIZE and Danhausen will think about maybe possibly pondering lifting your curse. Also send human money. @FirstTake”

Smith responded in panic, claiming that “heads need to roll” if the Knicks lose the series to the Hawks. To remind fans again, the Hawks have future megastar Jalen Johnson on their team.

“I’m not apologizing for a damn thing @DanhausenAD. Not a damn thing. Curse or no curse, the
@nyknicks have NO BUSINESS losing this series to the @ATLHawks — no matter how good that young team is. No business. If the @Knicks lose this series, heads need to roll. Period. President! GM! Coach! Players! Even the damn Dance Team! To hell with all that superstitious stuff. The @nyknicks need to handle their damn business. They had better not lose this series, damnit. I swear they better not!”

The next game between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 6 PM EST. It will air on NBC and Peacock. Jalen Johnson is expected to play.
