Stephen Amell And Alexander Ludwig Would Like To Have Becky Lynch And Edge Do Guest Spots On 'Heels'

The stars of Heels would like to have more wrestlers do guest spots on their show.

Speaking with Collider, Stephen Amell (Arrow) and Alexander Ludwig (Vikings) discussed a variety of topics including their bond, the rigours of professional wrestling and doing right by the community, and what drew them to this project. Towards the end of the interview, each was asked if there were any wrestlers that they would like to see pop up on the show in the future. Here were their answers:

AEW Dynamite (4/24) Viewership Dips Below 700,000 Against NHL And NBA Games, Rating Dips As Well

LUDWIG: "I’ve been begging Adam Copeland. He’s a friend of mine and he’s one of the greatest heels of all time. He’s in the hall of fame. I leaned on him a lot, in preparation for this. He was Edge. I’ve been like, “Adam, man, we’ve gotta have you on the show. We’d be so lucky to have you.” So, hopefully, if this continues, I would love for him to come on."

AMELL: "Well, we’re not paying him anything. Give me Becky Lynch. I’d love to have Becky Lynch on the show."

Season one of Heels will feature appearances by CM Punk as Ricky Rabies and Mick Foley as a podcast host. Show producer Michael Waldron recently spoke with IGN and gave Punk's performance a glowing review. You can read his comments here.

Heels is set to premiere on Starz on August 15 and tells the story of brothers and small-town pro wrestling rivals Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) and Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig). In the ring, there are very clearly defined by their roles of the good guy and the bad guy, but as the two battle over their late father’s legacy, they realize that the lines are far more blurry in their own lives.
