STARZ recently announced that "Heels" season two will premiere on July 28. The series, which stars Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig, focuses on two brothers who run a wrestling promotion in Georgia.

During a recent live signing on Whatnot, the former Arrow star discussed the ways they'll promote the series, and whether his relationships with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk could see him collaborate with WWE and/or AEW. [h/t POST Wrestling for the transcriptions]

"We have talked about various avenues for promoting the second season of the show (Heels on STARZ) and obviously, we’re a little less than two months away from it coming out so we still have a little bit of time but, we’re kicking around some ideas," Amell said. "I mean obviously, if Cody (Rhodes) was still with AEW, it’d be pretty cut and dry that we’d do something with AEW. Now I’ve got Phil, CM Punk, who’s on the show with AEW, we got Cody back in WWE. So, I have a connection with Phil, I have a connection with Cody. I haven’t done anything with AEW. I’ve done stuff with WWE. AEW feels like it might be a little bit more of a natural path right now but I also am involved in a project for the WWE that comes out right around the same time as the second season of Heels comes out so it’s like, I don’t know. These are champagne problems (he smiled)."

Amell and Rhodes wrestled at SummerSlam 2015, even launching a charity shirt together to help raise funds for a hospice care facility in Toronto called Emily's House. The two have continued working together, both in the ring and outside. Amell was even seen cheering on Rhodes at ringside during his match at WrestleMania 39.

Another wrestler Amell has a relationship with is CM Punk. The AEW star helped train Amell for his role in Heels and even had a small role in season one of the series.

The Canadian actor, however, revealed that Punk plays a heavier role in season two.

"CM Punk is Ricky Rabies; has a heavy involvement in season two of Heels," he said.

On the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed that CM Punk is set to return to AEW on the debut episode of AEW Collision, which will take place at the United Center on June 17.
