Steve Austin Remembers Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan passed away on Thursday, July 24 at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Hogan’s impact on wrestling is still felt to this day as Hulkamania ran wild in the 80s and his heel turn in 1996 to form the NWO shifted the landscape. Hogan is unquestionably one of the biggest box office draws in wrestling history.
Steve Austin may have been the first star to reach the box office heights of Hogan as his popularity exploded in 1997-1998 and helped turn the tide in favor of WWE against WCW.
On Instagram, Austin posted the following tribute to Hogan:
Hulk Hogan was born to be a Professional Wrestler. Larger than life. Charisma for days. He was in a stratosphere all on his own.
His contributions are immense. His influence will be forever.
Hulkamania lives on.
My condolences to his family and loved ones.
Despite their respective popularties, Austin and Hogan never had a one-on-one match.
