Steve Maclin Punches Tom Hannifan, Pushes Matt Rehwoldt on 2/26 TNA iMPACT

Maclin explains himself.
Steve Maclin was part of the 2026 TNA Wrestling Feast or Fired match, and he retrieved one of the four briefcases. His briefcase contained the ‘fired’ slip, which led to his termination from the promotion.
On the night that he said goodbye to the roster, the last person to approach him before he was about to exit the venue was TNA World Champion Mike Santana. Santana called Maclin ‘selfless,’ and Maclin reacted by attacking his now-former friend. Maclin showed up again at TNA’s No Surrender special and brawled with Santana during the main event.
Via commentator Tom Hannifan, Maclin was granted an interview segment, which aired on the 2/26 TNA iMPACT.
Maclin brought up the alcoholism problems he dealt with during his time in WWE. He also mentioned that he got Hannifan the commentator job at TNA.
Hannifan responded to Maclin by saying that he, Mike Santana, and others have been there for Maclin at many points over the last several years. He asked Maclin how many times TNA has had to fine him and added that he needs to take accountability.
Maclin proceeded to punch Hannifan in the gut. Mike Santana then came out. Maclin exited the ring, and on the outside, he shoved Hannifan’s broadcast partner, Matt Rehwoldt.
