Steve Maclin: It Felt Good To Go Back To The Performance Center As The Character I Created Outside Of The Performance Center
Steve Maclin discusses his return to WWE NXT.
In the lead-up to NXT x TNA Showdown, Steve Maclin appeared on WWE NXT as a part of the group of TNA stars that invaded the Orlando-based brand.
This was a proving ground moment for Maclin, who was released from WWE back in 2021.
Speaking with Sam Roberts for a new interview, Maclin was asked if it felt good to return to the WWE PC as a character that he created outside of the company.
“1000%. I bet on me in that way of just going out there and just being different and who I thought I was and when I was told no so many times. I get it, you don’t fit the mold on that television show, so now I have to bring my character to another show. You got to change the channel because not every character is going to work on every show, right? It’s just like how do you make it work elsewhere and then it can eventually fit into another character.“
