Steven Borden, Ortiz Compete In Dark Matches Before AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming

Dark matches with Steve Borden and Ortiz.

The Gateway Center Arena at College Park in Georgia played host to AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming on December 10th.

Several dark matches took place before the show went live on TBS and HBO Max. One of those bouts saw Steven Borden, the son of Sting, in singles action. He faced Kiran Gray. Borden and Gray wrestled in November at DEFY Wrestling’s event in Seattle, and Borden secured the win. In their match before Dynamite, Borden picked up the victory again.

Also, Ortiz returned to in-ring action for AEW. He fell in defeat to HOOK in a dark match. He had not wrestled for AEW since January 2024. Ortiz has been working as a coach and producer for AEW.
