Sting Praises Darby Allin’s Leadership Qualities, Believes That He Could Be Somebody That Rights The Ship When It Gets Off Course

Sting praises Darby Allin’s leadership qualities.

Allin has done big things since Sting’s retirement match, including his recent win over MJF to become the new AEW World Champion. ‘The Icon’ was in the house for the title change, making the moment even better for Allin.

Speaking with Uncrowned for a new interview, Sting said that he once told Tony Khan that Allin could end up running AEW one day, or at least help right the ship when it gets off course.

“He’s got a leadership quality about him. I told Tony Khan at one point, I said, I think he’s going to end up running the company at some point or he could. But he has no interest in doing that at all. But he could be somebody that could right the ship when you’re getting off course.”
