'Sting: The Lost Tape' To Premiere May 31 On WWE Network

A new special focused on Sting is set to premiere on the WWE Network.

According to WWE Network News, 'Sting: The Lost Tape" will air on WWE Network on May 31. The special will feature never before seen and unreleased footage of Sting including interviews and other backstage highlights from the date of WCW Slamboree 1995. Sting took on Big Bubba Rogers (Big Bossman) at the event.

Sting has been in the headlines recently as it was reported that Sting is no longer under contract with WWE.

Mattel announced that Sting had been removed from the Legends figure line, writing, "Due to circumstances out of our control Sting needed to be removed from Legends Series 7. We’ll look to include this figure in a future wave if he becomes available to us again.”

Cody added fuel to the "Sting to AEW" rumors by posting the famous Cody_Ear.gif following the Mattel news.

Sting was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 and was part of the blue carpet event when SmackDown premiered on FOX. It is unknown where or if Sting will show up next. Because the one thing that's for sure about Sting. Is nothing's for sure.
