Sting says that his run in All Elite Wrestling left him feeling like he was home and that it felt like his own brand.

Throughout his legendary career, ‘The Icon’ would wrestle in several of the world’s biggest wrestling promotions before retiring from the sport in 2024 with a tag team bout alongside Darby Allin against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Sting was asked about getting to compete in TNA, AEW, WWE and WCW, and was asked about the differences.

“They’re all different in some ways. But the thing that I liked about AEW is it just felt like my brand. It felt like home to me.”

Sting was then asked about working with Tony Khan, who the Hall Of Famer noted was ‘phenomenal’.

“He was the best. He was phenomenal. He treated me like gold the whole way through. Yeah, if it wasn’t for Tony, I wouldn’t have had the run that I had, and Darby, my partner.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Sting spoke about John Cena’s upcoming retirement. You can read more about that here.
