A stipulation has been added to the X Division Championship match at IMPACT! Hard To Kill.
On Saturday, January 8, Steve Maclin will finally get the one-on-one match with Trey Miguel that he has been requesting for months. The undefeated Maclin lost out to Miguel at Bound For Glory in a triple threat match for the X Division Title, and then again lost in another triple threat match for the belt that saw Laredo Kid get pinned.
The head-to-head clash was made official two weeks ago when Trey approached Gail Kim and demanded a match with Maclin after he ceased to stop targeting the champion. Tonight, January 6, Maclin was overheard by Gail Kim saying that she made a big mistake making the match. In response, Gail informed Maclin that if he doesn't win, he will be barred from challenging for the title again as long as Trey is the champion.
