Stone Cold Steve Austin names his favorite Stunner-takers.

The Stone Cold Stunner is one of the most famous WWE finishing moves of all time. Through the years, an incredible who's who list of professional wrestlers has all taken the Stone Cold Stunner. From Hulk Hogan to John Cena and every possible name in between, including former president Donald Trump, nobody was safe from the venom of the "Texas Rattlesnake."

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Austin opened up about who he thinks took his finishing move the best. Of course, Stone Cold singled out his greatest rival, The Rock, but Steve also praised Scott Hall and Shane McMahon for how they took the move.

“Well, you got those different athletic presentations from Scott Hall, Shane took a good one, but I always go to The Rock. The Rock would always take that extra effort to careen around the ring in a way over sell fashion. But it meant so much more when he did that, because in the big matches we had, whether it was [WrestleMania] 15, 17, and 19, those moments meant so much. But I would go with The Rock, and here is the thing people don’t understand. When you give The Rock a Stunner, that guy is so jacked and so hard. When he is bouncing around the ring, sometimes he would flop off the ropes and end up landing back on me. I was like Jesus, you’re killing me. So, giving The Rock a Stunner can be painful when he flops back on you, but that’s the name that I am going to give you,” said Steve.

Elsewhere in the interview, Steve Austin addresses potentially wrestling at WrestleMania 40, the first WrestleMania held in Philadelphia since Steve defeated The Rock, following multiple Stunners, at WrestleMania 15 in 1999. Read Steve's comments at this link.

Austin also recently admitted he was contacted for WrestleMania 39, but was not confident in his ability to be prepared for a match in the time given. Read more here.
