Stone Cold Steve Austin says that Vince McMahon is easily the worst person at taking a Stone Cold Stunner.
Over the years, many wrestlers and personalities have taken the iconic Stone Cold Stunner from Austin, including arguably most famously, Vince McMahon. However, McMahon not being a traditionally trained professional wrestler, he has taken some infamous Stunners in the past, including at WrestleMania 38 when Austin made a surprise appearance on night two of the event to stun not just McMahon, but Austin Theory as well.
While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet in a new interview, Stone Cold Steve Austin was asked who the worst person was at taking a Stunner.
“Easily Vince is the worst.”
Austin was then asked if it was worse than Linda’s, leading to him listing some positive sells as well as Vince’s worst at WrestleMania 38.
“Well, because there’s multiple occasions with Vince where, Jesus, you can screw one up. Of course, me and Linda, she was like a second mom to me. I didn’t see her often, but when she was there, she was just so nice to me, and we would always have great conversations. So I felt bad that that one didn’t turn out good. But Vince had so many opportunities, and they were always so awful, especially the one at WrestleMania [where I wrestled] Kevin Owens, it was just terrible. So I had to start laughing, because you got to let everybody know that, hey, that’s really bad. Rock took a good one. Scott Hall took a good one. A bunch of people. There’s so many, I can’t list them all.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Austin spoke about his ‘great chemistry’ with Bret Hart. You can read more about that here.
