Ryder, along with his brother London Lightning, is a talent that is relatively new to the world of professional wrestling, making his debut in the ring last year. Now, he has spoken of a dream tag match that he wants to run back in the future.
While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, Storm Ryder was asked about what a potential dream match for him would look like.
“Oh wow. Well, with the Mystery Wrestling Talent Visa, we now have so much opportunity presented in front of us, and I am very excited for that. NWA, like I said, we used to do the territories there, Crockett Cups and stuff. We pretended to wrestle out and it would always start the same way. We would always be play wrestling and then he’d give me a stiff one and then I would give him a stiff one, and then by the end of it, you know, someone’s nose was bleeding. We were fighting each other. It was a full blown all out at that point. But let’s see some people I’d like to face. I know I’d love to face Alec and Jordan Oliver again. We wrestled them once to see four and a six man. But I’d love to do that again, wrestle for the IWTV titles again. That’d be great, and we’re going to need to coexist after the match because London and I, we got a lot of tag team bookings coming up after this. So let’s hope everything is okay after we knock each other’s heads a bit.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Storm spoke about being trained by Billy Gunn and Jonathan Gresham. You can read more about that here.
