NXT Heatwave is shaping up nicely.
Joining the WWE NXT men's and women's title matches, another championship match, and several grudge matches have been added to the August 16 television special.
First, Giovanni Vinci, feeling robbed of his North American Championship match by Nathan Frazer, officially challenged Carmelo Hayes to a match for next week and now, he looks to gain his first singles match in NXT.

Also next week, Santos Escobar and Tony D’Angelo will face off in a Street Fight. If Santos gets the victory, Legado Del Fantasma will be free of Tony's control. If Tony wins, Cruz, Joaquin, and Elektra will stay under his control, but Santos Escobar will be leaving WWE NXT forever.

A match between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez was also made official for next week. These former partners have been feuding ever since Cora turned on her former friend and threw away their Tag Team Titles.

Also confirmed for next week, Sanga will be guiding Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon as they go on a journey towards finding balance.
