KENTA will defend the gold at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United.
IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed that KENTA will put the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the line against Minoru Suzuki at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United on March 30. IMPACT previously announced that KENTA would face Suzuki, but it was initially unclear whether the title would be on the line.
Additionally, IMPACT announced that Yuya Uemura will face Gabriel Kidd on the Countdown to Multiverse United pre-show on FITE. Uemura has competed for IMPACT multiple times in recent weeks.

KENTA won the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship by defeating Fred Rosser at NJPW Battle in the Valley on February 18.
Due to an injury, Hiroshi Tanahashi will replace Will Ospreay in his match against Mike Bailey at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United. More information is available here.
