Sumie Sakai will be making a historic defense in Chicago.
In April, Sumie Sakai won the finals of the Women of Honor tournament which crowned her as the inaugural Women of Honor Champion. At the Chicago stop on the War of the Worlds tour, Sakai will make her first defense of the championship against Jenny Rose.
Jenny Rose wrestled regularly for Ring of Honor last year and took part in the first round of the Women of Honor tournament.
The War of the Worlds tour will be in four cities in North America. The Chicago stop on the tour will not be broadcasted on the Honor Club streaming service. The card also features another Women's match between Deonna Purrazzo and Kelly Klein and a ROH Television Championship match between Silas Young and Austin Aries.
