Summer Rae: Vince McMahon Did Not Scare Me At All

Summer Rae signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2011, spending six years in the company before her 2017 release.

During her time in the company, Rae was best known for her work as Fandango's dance partner, but she was also involved in a storyline with Rusev (Miro in AEW), Dolph Ziggler, and Lana.

Speaking to the TWC Show, Rae was asked about her relationship with Vince McMahon during her time in the company.

"Vince loved me. I love Vince. I would walk straight into Vince's office all the time. Vince did not scare me at all. You have to be respectful, I would never just walk into his office, I would knock and wait. Whenever I was having an issue or thinking of leaving, I went and talked to him. I respect him and wanted to tell him where my head was at with the injury. I did try to quit, but I was injured and was like, 'bring me back or let me go' because I couldn't go do other things, but I was still getting injury pay," she said.

Rae made her last WWE TV appearance on the July 22, 2016 episode of WWE Superstars.

During the interview, she revealed she was diagnosed with thoracic syndrome, which would limit her to returning full-time. However, she did say that she would be open to a return in some capacity. You can find her full comments about a potential return by clicking here.
