'Survivor' Cast Member Claims That John Morrison Was Involved In A "Showmance" During The Filming Of 'Survivor'

Woah...

Former Lucha Underground Champion John Morrison is currently featured in a number of wrestling promotions and companies. Morrison is being spotlighted on this season of Lucha Underground, he is the current BCW Heavyweight Champion, works all over the Southern California wrestling scene and on top of the other promotions he works for, Morrison is involved in the main event scene of IMPACT Wrestling and this Sunday at 'Bound For Glory' he will challenge Austin Aries for the IMPACT World Championship.

Pro wrestling is not the only game that Morrison has been playing as he is also featured on the 37th season of the reality TV series 'Survivor' that is currently airing. 'Survivor: David vs. Goliath' began its season on September 26th and has had two episodes air thus far. Cast member Jeremy Crawford who was voted off the island shared some information during an interview with 'The Hollywood Reporter' that had to do with Morrison. Crawford claimed that he was voted off the island because he made a joke about fellow cast member Angelina Keely and her relationship with John Morrison. Jeremy stated that two were in a "showmance" and that there was some flirtation between them.

"The showmance was like Dan and Kara's, except Angelina was into John like Dan was into Kara; John, not so much," he said. "But since Angelina was a newlywed, she didn't want anyone to say on air that she was in a showmance."

John Morrison is married to Taya Valkyrie and was engaged to the fellow professional wrestler at the time of the filming of 'Survivor'. Angelina Keely was also engaged to her husband at the beginning of filming. Thus far on the 37th season of 'Survivor' there has been no signs of a "showmance" between Morrison and Keely but Jeremy Crawford claimed that the sole reason for him being voted out of his tribe was because he mentioned the "showmance" between the two.

[ Angelina] "didn't want us to say anything [about the showmance] in testimonials - out of fear that it would make her look bad. After the reward challenge where we won fishing equipment, I made a joke about Angelina and John's showmance that got back to Angelina the day we went to the immunity challenge. That [put] Angelina on the warpath to get me out before anyone said anything about her being in a showmance. It's very difficult, because you don't get to see it on air, but I think that was the nail in [my] coffin." Crawford continued, "[It] wasn't a secret. If it rained, Angelina would take care of John's clothes and make sure they were dry, even before her own. If they went out to look for coconuts, they went out to look together. They were in a showmance."

'The Hollywood Reporter' reached out to Angelina Keely for a response to the allegations made by Jeremy Crawford and she stated the following:

"My husband and I are aware of Jeremy’s comments," she said. "While we do not appreciate his blatant mischaracterization of my friendship and alliance with John, I am not surprised he feels compelled to attempt to revise the narrative. I think all of this really comes down to one fundamental Survivor truth: being the first eliminated member of your tribe by a unanimous, undisclosed blindside, must really sting, especially for a supposed 'Goliath.'"
