Suzu Suzuki Announces Her Exit From PROMINENCE; Wants To Be Face Of Pro Wrestling World

Suzu Suzuki is moving on with big goals ahead.

Suzuki has established herself as one of the best young wrestlers in the world today. The 20-year-old was a win away from going to the finals of STARDOM's 5STAR Grand Prix last year before drawing with Giulia, the eventual winner, on the final night. She had since won the Artist of Stardom Championship alongside her PROMINENCE stablemates Risa Sera and Kurumi Hiiragi.

It was at STARDOM's All Star Grand Queendom on Sunday where they lost those titles to the REstart trio of KAIRI, Natsupoi, and Saori Anou. On Monday, Suzuki competed in the final match of her deathmatch series at the PROMINENCE 1st Anniversary show at Korakuen Hall against deathmatch legend Jun Kasai. While she came up short, she was quite emotional following the loss and announced that she'd be leaving PROMINENCE.

"Suzu Suzuki will leave PROMINENCE today," Suzuki said, as translated by Himanshu Doi. "But don't be sad! This is my decision to become the face of the pro-wrestling world!

"But I'm not saying that I will quit deathmatches. Please continue to follow Suzu Suzuki."

There's no word as to what Suzuki's next steps are but PROMINENCE did release this video regarding her exit.
