Swerve Strickland Fined $100,000 By AEW

Swerve Strickland has been sanctioned for his actions on AEW Dynamite.

On the 2/21 AEW Collision, it was announced that Swerve Strickland was given a $100,000 fine and was suspended from appearing on the Saturday show.

Strickland faced Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite (2/18) in the main event. During the bout, he used the referee, Aubrey Edwards, as a shield against Omega’s V-Trigger. Strickland eventually won the match after hitting a House Call, followed by Big Pressure for the victory.

Post-match, he attacked Omega even further. He used a chain on his throat, pushed the referee out of the ring, and even hit Omega with the Vertebreaker on the announcer’s table.
