Swerve Strickland nearly became a two-time AEW World Champion at AEW Dynasty, but the return of The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) prevented him from defeating Jon Moxley.
Swerve believes as long as the Bucks are around, his path back to the title will be difficult.
"Honestly, it's going to be a difficult one as long as the Young Bucks are involved with the EVPs titles. If it wasn't for the Young Bucks, I probably would've pinned Jon Moxley at Dynasty to become the two-time AEW World Champion, which very few people have been able to do in AEW history. Back to the World Champion, for me, how the Young Bucks and EVPs feel about me, it's not possible until they are taken care of and out of my way," Swerve told Knockouts And Three Counts.
Swerve is set to team with Mike Bailey & Mark Briscoe to take on the Bucks and Ricochet on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
