Swerve Strickland is a little banged up.

Swerve Strickland is set to challenge Samoa Joe for the AEW World Title at AEW Dynasty on April 21. Swerve hasn't wrestled since defeating Konosuke Takeshita on the March 27 episode of AEW Dynamite to earn his title shot, but has been involved in physical segments, including going through a table and getting bloodied up during the contract signing.

Speaking on ESPN Opening Drive, Swerve was asked how his body is holding up after all the years of wrestling.

"Pretty bad [laughs]. I'm doing alright. You find your ways...I still have bruised ribs from three or four weeks ago. It's not easy," he said.

Swerve is still scheduled to compete at AEW Dynasty.
