Swerve Strickland was in Arizona to throw out the ceremonial first pitch as the Arizona Diamondbacks took on the Colorado Rockies.
Swerve's pitch was a juuuuuust a bit high in the strike zone, but wasn't the worst first pitch ever. Sorry, 50 Cent.
Swerve said that he just needed to get it over the plate, but they never said how high over the plate. He also thought it was his best first pitch that he's thrown.

Swerve was in the stadium to promote AEW Double or Nothing, which takes place on May 25 in Glendale, Arizona.
As of this writing, the game between the Diamondbacks and Rockies has not concluded, but if the Diamondbacks lose, Swerve may never be invited back.
