Swerve Strickland To Challenge Kazuchika Okada For AEW Unified Title At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Kazuchika Okada will put his AEW Unified Championship on the line against Swerve Strickland at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

The event is scheduled for August 24th.

Swerve drew the ire of Okada after AEW All In, where Swerve & Will Ospreay defeated the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), stripping the Young Bucks of their EVP titles.

On AEW Collision, Swerve said he had his eye on the AEW Unified Championship and mentioned Forbidden Door. Okada said they didn’t need to talk at Forbidden Door, they could fight. Bitch.
