Swerve Strickland Wants To Remove The Young Bucks Side Plates From AEW World Trios Titles

Swerve Strickland wants to make a big change to the AEW Trios Championships.

Alongside the duo of Kofi and Austin Creed, Strickland is in the midst of his first reign with the AEW World Trios Championships. In a new interview with Don Chenz, Strickland was asked to name something that he’d change about his belt if he got the chance to redesign it.

“Take the Young Bucks off of it. It is the Young Bucks throwing a superkick on the side plates. We’ve had so many Trios Champions since then. If you get the new champions, you put different — at least the trios team on it. The Young Bucks aren’t even a trios, it’s just two people on a Trios Championship.”
