"Switchblade" Jay White Retains The IWGP US Heavyweight Title, David Finlay Attacks Jay White Post-Match And Issues A Challenge

"Switchblade" retains his title but a new challenger arises.

In what was a hard-hitting match where the two men put each other through war, the mysterious man of the 'Chaos' faction "Switchblade" Jay White successfully defended the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship against Adam "Hangman" Page during tonight's 'Strong Style Evolved' event. Jay White would have no time to celebrate though, as a new challenger presented himself to "Switchblade's" title.

The two former Young Lions are now rivals. During NJPW's 'Road To New Beginning' tour in February, David Finlay attempted to best Jay White but was unsuccessful in slowing down "Switchblade". Fast forward a month later, following White's victory over "Hangman" Page, David Finlay emerged once again and attacked Jay White. Finlay would go on to issue a challenge to Jay White for the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship on April 24th at Korakuen Hall.
