Sylvain Grenier Says He's In Training As A WWE Agent

Sylvain Grenier has returned to WWE, training as an agent in the company. 

Speaking to TVASports.ca, Grenier says he met with Kevin Dunn in April 2019 and was told the company was looking for agents to hire. He was invited to the SmackDown on Fox premiere in October and an agreement was made from there.

Grenier claims he started the new role at WWE Raw in Lexington, Kentucky on Jan. 13. 

"For the moment, I'm in training. But eventually, I will be assigned to the red team or the blue team, Raw or SmackDown. I'm going to do a TV show a week, every PPV and once a month, I'm going to tour house shows," he said. 

Grenier noted that his role is to do "fine-tuning" and connect the message Vince McMahon wants out of the match with the wrestlers. He'd noted that longtime friend Pat Patterson didn't know about the job until it was official.

The former member of La Resistance was signed by WWE in 2003. He went on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships on four separate occasions. He was released by WWE in 2007. He went on to do french commentary for TNA/IMPACT and work various Independent dates.
