T-Pain and his friends must have had their Booty-O’s that morning. The good news is that they took the misunderstanding in stride, even crediting the old lady for roasting them.
While the wrestling acumen of T-Pain and company is unproven, Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods showed they could do well for themselves in the music industry. Earlier this year, The New Day defeated The Usos in a rap battle hosted by Wale.
The case of mistaken identity occurred at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. WWE Superstars from SmackDown! Live were off the road over the weekend following their trip to Argentina a week prior and their upcoming UK tour.
Members of The New Day didn’t respond to the claim on social media, but Woods did retweet the post.
