Recently released win loss records for AEW talent shows a growing five way tie among several key AEW Women. With the upcoming AEW Women's World Championship Elimination Tournament this momentum will play a huge role. As it stands right now, Hikaru Shida is joined by Anna Jay, Penelope Ford, Nyla Rose, and Big Swole. All of whom boast currently being undefeated thus far in 2021. One win and zero losses.
Serena Deeb has emerged ahead of the curve with two wins and zero losses. So far she has successfully retained her NWA Women's Championship Title against Thunder Rosa, Tay Conti and others. After this past AEW Dark episode, Tay Conti is right behind the five way tie with a one and one record. Accompanied by fellow Dark Order members Anna Jay and -1., Tay Conti successfully defeated the debuting Davienne. This win was a perfect jumping point for Tay Conti after suffering the big loss against Serena Deeb with the NWA Title on the line.
Speculation continues to grow with mystery as the brackets for the Tournament have yet to be filled. With the AEW/IMPACT merger going strong, IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts are throwing down the gauntlet and looking straight at AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida and the AEW Tag Team Cup Winners Ivelisse and Diamante. With that said, Ivelisse Velez picked up another win on AEW Dark. Adding another op top of her amazingly dominant pile of wins. This time the W would come from Jazmin Allure. Jazmin Allure is no stranger to AEW fans as she continues to chisel away proving herself with every appearance. The match itself was indicative of Ivelisse's drive to get to the top of AEW and officially challenge Shida.
Red Velvet continues her fight for a more permanent spot in AEW. Being seen in matches and vignettes. Red Velvet entered this AEW Dark episode being backed by -1 of the Dark Order. Never one to turn away from a challenge, Velvett scored a momentum building win over Madi Wrenkowski. Red Velvet has been a reoccurring character continuing to grow into her own on AEW programming.
Abadon and Dr. Britt Baker, DMD both scored victories as well on AEW Dark placing them in highly favorable positions once the brackets are announced. Britt Baker defeated the debuting AEW hopeful - Brooke Havok. Huge night for the young up and coming talent. Brooke Havok, not only made her AEW debut on AEW Dark. She represented the Nightmare Factory, while also having her very first Pro Wrestling match! Congratulations! Squaring off with one of AEW's biggest heels in their Women's Division is a pretty awesome debut if you ask me. Dr. Britt Baker accompanied by Reba ultimately scored the win. But I'm sure we'll be seeing more of Brooke Havok soon.
Abadon continues to exert her dominance with another win. This time over VertVixen. Overall, the only competitors in a more dominant winning position at this time are Hikaru Shida and Ivelisse Velez. We'll have to wait and see how this Elimination Tournament will tie in with AEW hopefuls aiming for their own contracts. Women like KiLynn King, Alex Gracia, Thunder Rosa who's also with NWA, and Red Velvet. While others fight to maintain a prime position like AEW Champion Hikaru Shida, Big Swole, Penelope Ford, Tay Conti, Anna Jay, Britt Baker, Ivelisse, Diamante, NWA Champion Serena Deeb, Abadon and Nyla Rose. How this ties in with IMPACT Knockouts like Jordynne Grace, Champion Deonna Purrazzo, Tag Team Champions Fire & Flava, and more will be interesting as it unfolds. Only time will tell…
