TAELER: Franky Monet Defeats Cora Jade In NXT In Ring Debut

Last week newer WWE NXT Superstar WWEra Loca, Franky Monet made her highly anticipated and long awaited NXT in ring debut. The featured match would see Franky Monet ina singles match going one on one with fellow NXT Superstar Cora Jade. The two would clash in an effort that would ultimately see Franky Monet gaining her first victory in her debut match for NXT. The WWE Universe flocked to Twitter to discuss the in ring debut of Franky Monet after the characters old school build up with vignettes and an in ring segment that would see Franky Monet making her intentions known to the reigning and defending NXT Women's Champion, Raquel Gonzalez.

The moment for her in ring debut in NXT could not have come soon enough for Franky Monet formerly known as Wera Loca Taya Valkyrie. As one of the newer WWE signings, Franky Monet didn't just appear out of thin air randomly found by WWE. Monet painstakingly earned her very own WWE contract after almost ten years in the business. Monet would sign her contract in the memory of all the blood, sweat, tears, broken bones, and sacrifices she made and gave in the pursuit of her own WWE dream. A dream it would take almost ten years to fully realize and achieve.

While making her entrance and walking to the ring for her first ever WWE NXT match against Cora Jade were all the moments that lead to Taya Valkyrie becoming Franky Monet. Traveling the globe. Honing her craft. Evolving her character. Holding numerous titles for televised companies like AAA Mexico, Lucha Underground, and IMPACT Wrestling. From Canada, to Mexico, the U.S., Japan, Australia, and more…it all lead to the moment the bell rang and her first NXT match began and solidified just how worth it all those decisions were when her arm was raised in victory in the NXT brand under the WWE umbrella.

Her win over Cora Jade is just the beginning for both women in NXT. While no two journey's are exactly alike, each woman possesses immense potential as the future of the WWE. Cora Jade making history alongside Gigi Dolan tagging against The Way's Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell on 205 Live, who are now NXT Women's Tag Team Champions. Franky Monet winning her debut match in a good bout that highlighted the veteran experience of Monet and the growing confidence of Cora Jade is just the beginning and speaks volumes to plethora and depth of competition currently residing in NXT. One can safely assume that for Franky Monet, Cora Jade was the first obstacle in her way to getting to the NXT Women's Title and subsequently to the NXT Women's Champion, Raquel Gonzalez. After last week, NXT is about to get a makeover in the image of WWEra Loca Franky Monet...
